Work you'll do

The Network Engineer will advise on alternate approaches and feasibility studies as well as develop network architecture and network design documentation. This involves analyzing requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to develop network requirements specifications. You'll also be responsible for leading design and development activities of the clients' network.

This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. Qualifications

Required:
  • Proven experience at least 4+ years in network engineering, development, design and architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to be onsite 100% of the time in one of the locations listed: Washington DC; Reston, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Tampa, FL; St. Louis MO and Huntsville, AL
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.

Preferred:
  • Analyze requirements, CONOPS, and system architectures to develop network requirements specifications.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Analyze network requirements and capacity, and lead design and development activities.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of network requirement, design, and technology.
  • Incorporate new network plans, designs, and IT systems into ongoing operations.
  • Develop network architecture and network design documentation.
  • Guide and support network development and implementation planning.
  • Design and perform integration of new technologies into local and wide area networks.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network issues.
  • Manage the transition and migration of networks and development of network addressing schemes.
  • Interact with the government personnel and senior executives on technical considerations.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,000-$190,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
