Position Summary
  • Develop detailed test project plans, track and manage test executions to ensure they are in line with test strategy to meet deliverables and quality objectives.

  • Develop and execute test cases and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems covering all known regulatory and functional requirements adopting internal guidelines and standards.

  • Ensure incident reports are properly prepared, tracked, and managed through closure of project.

  • Identify root causes for escaped defects and develop mitigation measures.

  • Conduct periodic reviews, publish weekly reports, and highlight any concerns affecting project progress in a timely manner.

  • Review all work products, artifacts, and deliverables from test engineers.

  • Mentor, coach, and train test engineers on technical, functional, and regulatory aspects.

  • Evaluate performance of test engineers and provide feedback for improvement.

  • Evaluate opportunities for improvement, propose solutions and manage implementation in a continuous manner.

  • Lead software defect scrub meetings and test milestones, attend meetings with development teams.

  • Utilize databases for software quality assurance (SQA) functions and testing.

  • Follow all SQA work instructions to accomplish tasks.

  • Interface with other members of product development team to effectively communicate and assist with resolution of all reported technical issues in a timely manner before the gaming product is released.

  • Reproduce issues when necessary, in order to assist software development team with issue resolutions.

  • Actively participate and contribute to identify areas of test process improvement, formulate plans and strategies for implementation, and drive adoption.

  • Responsible for resolving project escalations related to ongoing projects

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.

  • Five (5) years experience in the job offered or as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Test Engineer, Associate Quality Assurance Engineer, or any combination thereof.

Five (5) years’ experience (can be gained concurrently with above) must include the following:

  • Linux, Windows & Python

  • Automation framework development for Testing

  • Using Jenkins as CI/CD Tool, Docker, GIT, Linux Administration, AWS, Kubernetes, JIRA, Star Team, Beyond Compare

  • Using tools including Postman, VNC, WinSCP, Bitwise, Visual studio to develop and revisit codes to make changes on finding issues in the product tested.
