Job Description
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Start up, shut down, and restart machines per production schedule
Adjust chip attach machine processes for product defects (i.e epoxy excess, chip turned, low frequency)
Document and monitor critical process parameters
Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot process-related problems to maintain desired efficiency levels
Escalate appropriate information to Senior Process Engineer and their shift’s Team Leader as needed
Assist in changeovers of machines (tooling and material)
Adhere to quality (ISO9001) standards and safety standards
Consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing equipment
Perform general housekeeping within the department/group and assist other areas as required
Back up other areas of the production floor (Material Handling, Inspecting and Packing) as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 2+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience in process with insertion machines.
Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics or Electrical Mechanical Engineering) is a plus.
A preferred candidate will have additional targeted technical education in SMT process or in manufacturing machine processing
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
