Job Description

We are looking for a driven Senior Product Specialist to join our team, dedicated to achieving sales targets for AbbVie’s promoted products through education and engagement with key healthcare stakeholders. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with influential healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to maximize product uptake and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales objectives in line with brand plans
  • Promote AbbVie products to medical and associated professionals
  • Develop and support relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treatment environments and competitors
  • Deliver tailored customer engagement plans for each key account
  • Report on performance, activities, and competitor insights regularly
  • Provide monthly sales information to support forecasting
  • Record call activities in line with Sales Force Excellence standards
  • Control promotional expenditure within territory budget
  • Uphold company standards and comply with IPHA Code of Practice
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence

 


Qualifications

 

  • Degree in science, nursing, or relevant industry sales experience
  • Previous experience in the Gastro therapeutic area is preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to differentiate products in a scientific, fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in a matrix organization; product launch experience is a plus

You will collaborate with external healthcare professionals and internal AbbVie teams.
