Job Details

We are looking for a Technical Account Executive (m/w/d) to join our Industrial Equipment team in the DACH region. We are looking to add a motivated, curious and driven team member, who is excited about digital transformation, technology and teamwork. The role focuses on technically supporting Industrial Equipment customers and driving the digital transformation of their core processes. You will help organizations across Central Europe implement innovative, future-ready engineering, manufacturing, and service strategies using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

The position can be performed in a hybrid, location-flexible setup from any 3DS office, with a preference for Darmstadt, followed by our offices in Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Karlsruhe, or Düsseldorf. Regular travel within the DACH region is expected to maintain close collaboration with colleagues and customers.

Role Description & Responsibilities

 

  • Perform technical consulting activities for Industrial Equipment customers adopting the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and beyond.
  • Provide technical expertise to the sales team for expanding business with existing and new accounts.
  • Develop transformation strategies using the 3DS portfolio, including 3D UNIV+RSES powered by Generative AI.
  • Define integrated global solutions and sustainable architectures that cover complete customer business processes.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and system integrators.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels and represent 3DS at relevant industry events and conferences.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Computational Engineering or similar), together with 5+ years of experience in technical, consulting-driven software environments with strong knowledge of the mechanical and plant engineering industry.
  • Solid expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Experience developing customer-specific Transformation Plans, including Enterprise Architecture Modeling (UAF-based).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer-focused consulting skills.
  • Ability to build networks with customers, industry associations, and colleagues across the international organization
  • Fluent in English and German.
