The Senior Manager of Cloud Networking Engineering and Operations will lead a high-performing team responsible for the design, implementation, and operational excellence of the Multi-Cloud Networking Platform across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Aviatrix environments. This leader will drive high uptime, process improvement, reporting, and visibility, ensuring the platform meets business needs and industry standards. The role requires flexibility to work across multiple global time zones, including US and India, and support a 24x7 business operation.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • People Leadership: Mentor, develop, and manage a team of cloud networking engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the Multi-Cloud Networking Platform is highly available, reliable, and secure. Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution of operational issues
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements for operational efficiency, automation, and scalability. Drive adoption of best practices in cloud networking and operations
  • Reporting & Visibility: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into platform health, performance, and compliance
  • Technical Leadership: Guide the team in designing and implementing cloud networking solutions using AWS, Azure, GCP, and Aviatrix. Oversee configuration and management of Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and cloud routing protocols (BGP, etc.)
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure robust cloud and network security, including segmentation, firewall policy automation (Aviatrix DCF, Palo Alto Firewalls), IAM/RBAC, and compliance with organizational standards
  • Automation & DevOps: Promote automation using Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) adoption and network automation initiatives
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application, security, and infrastructure teams, to deliver integrated solutions
  • Change Management & Cut-over Leadership: Lead change management initiatives and oversee cut-over planning and execution to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption
  • Global Time Zone Coordination: Manage operations and team activities across multiple global time zones, including US and India, ensuring seamless communication and support for a 24x7 business environment
  • ServiceNow Ticket Management: Oversee handling of ServiceNow ticket queues, including issues, requests, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience leading cloud networking teams and managing operations in large-scale environments
  • Experience managing ITSM tools such as ServiceNow for ticket queues, escalations, and workflow optimization
  • Experience with cloud and network security, including Aviatrix DCF and Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP, and Aviatrix
  • Solid knowledge of cloud networking (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, BGP, routing)
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, GitHub) and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Proven excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively across global time zones and support a 24x7 operational environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Aviatrix, or related networking/cloud technologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and additional cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with network monitoring, reporting, and operational dashboards
