Job Description

Purpose

The Supervisor, HRConnect People Experience - LATAM is based in the United States and collaborates closely with HR team members of the LATAM region. This position will support employees in Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and other locations in the region. Main stakeholders are Payroll, affiliate HRBPs as well as our external vendor partners in regard to service delivery excellence. The individual in this role will partner with teams to manage day-to-day operations support and vendor relationships while optimizing key HR processes and supporting our global HRConnect strategy, project initiatives. This position will report to the global HRConnect People Experience director.

Responsibilities

As HRConnect People Experience supervisor, it will be critical to understand HR processes as well as varying business needs and priorities to align our HR operational priorities and ensure stakeholder expectations are met. A continuous improvement mindset, communication skills with hospitality is key. Responsibilities will include:

  • Primary liaison to our HR business partners in defined geography ensuring alignment of HR operations support to business HR strategies

  • Quickly respond to customer escalations and provide solutions to the concerns and issues.

  • Maintain effective communication and relationships across multiple groups internally and externally (service vendors) to ensure execution of business results.

  • Manage to consistently meet or exceed our internal customer (employee, manager, BHRs and business leadership) expectations by leveraging HR Operations and related Shared Service organization (vendor partner, Payroll and BTS (IT) partnerships) as enablers for BHRs to fulfill their designated strategic roles.

  • Manage and influence internal customer, and identify change management opportunities.

  • Track services using Case management system, key Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators to provide timely customer support and manage escalations.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine possible solutions, identify training needs or process/documentation improvements.

  • Act as Regional Subject Matter Expert for LATAM region on Workday HCM system, Time and other  related system processes and translate data analysis requirements into solutions.

  • Work with Global/ regional HR Systems, Operation and Payroll teams to continue optimize standards and practices as part of HRConnect initiatives, while understanding and allowing for necessary flexibility to respond to local specific legislative needs, business needs, unexpected circumstances, as required. This will include development of process maps, detailed work instructions, end-user help guides, etc.

  • Strong soft skills with minimum 2 years of supervisor or people manager experience to successfully manage team dynamics and lead the team.


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR and HR operations support (preferred in a complex, matrix, global environment)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer service environment
  • Demonstrates competency in leadership and project planning/management
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in HR, Time and Payroll systems (Workday, Taleo, euHReka or other HR module of ERP) and related data/vendor management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand data gaps and root of source data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience with Case management, communication and project management tools such as SalesForce, ServiceNOW, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Powerpoint, MS Teams, Sharepoint, video, infographic and storytelling.
  • Experience with MS excel and familiar with HR data management.
  • Experience in effective stakeholder management with a bias towards delivering superior customer service.
  • Ability to be agile and drive results, ability to collaborate across cultures and ability to work globally across organizational boundaries (vertical and horizontal)
  • Agile and self-motivated learnings.
  • Strong knowledge of local economies, business and governmental practices in Latin Ameria.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese
