Enterprise Workforce Management is a new capability that is being built at Citi that provides Citi leaders and managers with frameworks, standards, procedures, and tools to ensure adequate Organizational Health and Resource Management across the bank. The Workforce Management Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends and applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge within own job and the business. This role is responsible for supporting the management and implementation of Citi’s efforts around staffing, skill adequacy and organization design. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.  Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.  Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business.  Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.  Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.  Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required as well as ability to handle ambiguity and  navigate a fast paced environment.

Enterprise Workforce Management is responsible to lead Citi’s transformation efforts around staffing and skill adequacy and organizational design. The Skills Management Team is responsible for identifying skills we need, skills we have and what are the actions required to mitigate risk if there is a deficiency of skills in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meticulously execute and oversee skill assessment, remediation, and monitoring processes, strictly adhering to established Skill Procedures and operating manuals to ensure consistent and accurate outcomes Conduct in-depth analysis of skill assessment outcome, providing leadership with clear, data-driven insights into root causes and potential skill deficiency risks to inform strategic interventions
  • Lead/contribute to high-impact projects focused on evolving our skills management processes such as refining Operating manuals, providing hands-on delivery and expertise to continuously refine and optimize our skill assessment framework
  • Forge strong partnerships with internal HR teams, key business stakeholders, and Learning & Development to seamlessly implement the annual skills assessment framework, accurately tracking progress in closing critical skill gaps
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive responses for regulatory inquiries specific to skills management, meticulously preparing materials and managing artifacts to meet all relevant deliverables and internal audit requirements with unwavering accuracy

Knowledge/Experience

  • 5-7+ years of demonstrated experience in strategic workforce planning and/or complex operational roles
  • Possesses an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy, coupled with a proven ability to proficiently manage, analyze, and extract insights from large, intricate dataset
  • Demonstrably comfortable navigating ambiguity and excelling in high-paced environments with frequently changing priorities, consistently exhibiting an exceptional ability to "get things done" under tight deadlines
  • Proven experience operating within complex global organizational structures, and effective collaboration across diverse teams
  • Willingness to flex working hours to effectively collaborate with a global team, complemented by demonstrated knowledge and sensitivity across multiple geographic locations
  • A solid understanding of the key principles underpinning skills management within a broader workforce planning context

Education

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
