Lead Content Specialist II

The Lead Content Specialist II is responsible for managing and delivering high-quality content products end‑to‑end. The role requires deep domain expertise in Public Records and/or Dockets, strong leadership of cross‑functional initiatives, and advanced technical proficiency (XML, UNIX, scripting, Python). The role involves managing multiple system platforms: GCS, Alloy, LTC, Unix/Linux Novus, People Warehouse, Company Warehouse, etc.
You will lead projects, mentor the team, drive standardization and process excellence, and support a 24/7 coverage model with rotational shifts and work weeks.

About the Role:

  • Lead or manage departmental and cross-functional project teams for effective product lifecycle management.

  • Ensure integrity and completeness of work products and product databases across all assigned workflows/ tasks.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and product presentations to enhance collaboration. Communicate effectively and ensure high data accuracy and integrity.

  • Demonstrate master-level expertise in team and adjacent workflows; consult on tactical and strategic initiatives.

  • Drive standardization, cost savings, and process efficiencies through Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

  • Serve as an escalation point for multiple workflows/ tasks and provide expert-level support. Troubleshoot complex issues related to content conversion, workflows, and system/data integrity.

  • Identify training needs, design and deliver robust training programmes, and verify the work of others.

  • Develop comprehensive process documentation to support onboarding and business continuity.

  • Conduct process audits and root-cause analyses to resolve bottlenecks and improve KPIs. Participate in enhancement projects, testing, and implementation of new systems or processes.

  • Utilize technical expertise to navigate, troubleshoot and operate various applications such as GCS, Alloy, LTC, Unix/Linux Novus, People Warehouse, Company Warehouse, etc.


About You:

  • Proven ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional teams.

  • 8+ years of related experience into the field.

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of diverse Content Operations publishing systems/ applications.

  • Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.

  • Strong technical proficiency in UNIX, scripting, and familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, JIRA, and content publishing platforms.

  • Strong understanding of global workflows and process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma certified preferred).

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex data and system issues.

  • Ability to design and deliver training programmes and process documentation, and mentor new hires/ less experienced staff.

  • Preferred Technical Skills: Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX); Programming (C, C++, C#, .NET); Databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MS Access); Web Technologies (XML, HTML); Tools (Mainframe, Power Automate, Smartsheet, JIRA, Power BI).

  • Must be open to rotational shifts (including nights) and rotational work weeks (e.g., Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday-Thursday) to support 24/7 coverage.
