We’re looking for an IPC Fluid Consultant Intern to join our WW Fluid team in Warwick, UK. Starting in February 2026, this 12-month internship is your chance to dive into the world of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and work with cutting-edge solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience in transient flow modeling while tackling real engineering challenges alongside our experts.

Responsibilities

As an Intern in the Industry Process Consultant team, you will:

  • Conduct demonstrations using the SIMULIA Fluids toolset
  • Support the development and validation of methodologies and simulation approaches
  • Assist in the development of new CFD methodologies and workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency and application scope
  • Analyze simulation results, interpret data and provide actionable insights to support engineering decisions
  • Create impactful and realistic visualizations to communicate results
  • Participate in project meetings to define requirements and deliverables

Qualifications

  • Currently studying for or having a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on fluid mechanics and CFD
  • Practical course/laboratory experience with CAE tools
  • Deep interest in and solid understanding of fluid dynamics fundamentals
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting and visualizing complex data
  • Proficiency in script programming (Python) and experience with complex graphics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including presentation skills
  • Strong motivation for continuous learning and professional development
  • Effective team player with proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset, showing initiative and responsibility
  • Ambition to contribute to challenging projects while continuously developing new skills
  • Curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in approaching complex problems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
