The position will report into HR Director Taiwan and working closely with local GM and management team.
Summary:
With a strong understanding of the business, the incumbent will work closely with the business leaders to formulate and develop HR strategies, employee communications and implementation of HR programs/initiatives within the company’s code of conduct and organizational direction. The role will operate as a trusted partner and advisor to the General Manager, Allergan Aesthetics Leadership Team and People leaders in Allergan for Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
•Partner with the Allergan Aesthetics leadership team and leaders in ECNS, RA teams as BHR to ensure the organization is appropriately resourced to support the business strategy both now and in the future under the alignment with AbbVie HR Director Taiwan, and AA HR Director, China.
•Act as the Learning and Development Champion to lead learning and development programs for Taiwan and Hong Kong ensuring prompt and effective implementation.
•Serves as one contact point and integrated part of Hong Kong, partners with Centers of Expertise to implement HR programs, frameworks and processes aligned with local need in accomplishing broader business objectives.
•Develop, direct and implement HR strategy to meet organizational needs of a major segment of the business
•Ensure the delivery and integration of services across HR Practice aligned with overall HR strategy and meet the needs of the business
•Provide quality consultation and solution to people leaders and employees regarding HR policies, programs, and local labor laws
•Responsible for HR results in the business, including employee satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial results by working with internal network of AbbVie HR at the Area/Global and at times cross functions like Finance, Legal and other functions to execute shared projects and tasks
•Establishes, builds and maintains strong relationships with key HR partners from all HR functions to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs; includes relationship management, leadership, HR roles/responsibilities, and service delivery commitments.
•Be the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to the business and help manage the collective reputation of the HR organization as a whole.
•Ensures compliance with all relevant company policies, local affiliate laws, regulations, policies and practices
•Initiate and propose changes and additions to policies, programs and processes to improve standards of HR service; leverage change management principles
•Identifies trends in employment practices and advises on appropriate proactive action and training opportunities.
•Bachelor’s degree is required. Post-graduate qualifications in Human Resources and related field is a plus
•At least 10 years’ experience as HR Professional/Business partner role with proven experience in an MNC
•Proven track record of responsibility and delivery of excellent HR business partnering
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English that support building strong partnerships, appropriate influence, and portraying an objective and defensible position on situations.
•Exercise strong business judgment that is aligned with broad organizational philosophies and practices and is compliant with regulations. Makes effective decisions in ambiguous situations.
•Demonstrated understanding of Organizational Development activities preferred. Significant breadth of understanding of functional HR roles and responsibilities and impact on the business.
•Understanding of key business and financial drivers and demonstrated strong delivery of HR results.
•Substantial HR project management, organization effectiveness and organization development experience required
•Good knowledge of labor laws, local regulation, process management and HR Functions
