Job Description

About the Role:

Invesco’s Product Research & Insights team in EMEA and APAC is a dynamic group that drives deep analysis of products, markets, and asset flows to uncover insights that sharpen product positioning, strengthen client engagement, inform product development, and unlock growth opportunities across EMEA and APAC.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop deep expertise in Invesco’s product suite, competitor offerings, and industry trends within public and private markets
  • Conduct in-depth product research to uncover competitive advantages and develop differentiated value propositions that resonate with both internal and external audiences
  • Present at internal meetings to educate stakeholders on the competitive landscape and industry developments
  • Create and deliver compelling investment cases and insights that foster client engagement and influence decision-making
  • Collaborate with regional distribution teams to enhance client engagement through high-quality product and market intelligence
  • Partner with regional product development team to evaluate Invesco’s product shelf, identify critical gaps, and support the ideation of new products and structures
  • Contribute to our client-driven product prioritization process for APAC to align distribution efforts with areas of highest client demand and strongest product potential
  • Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco’s Conduct principles

Requirement for the Role:

  • University degree, preferably in a field related to financial markets; CFA designation or equivalent are highly desirable
  • 8+ years of experience in asset management or the broader financial industry, ideally in a role that combined research with effective delivery to key stakeholders and/or clients. Experience in product research & selection as well as product strategy is a plus
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the asset management industry, its products, all asset classes spanning private and public, vehicle structures and financial markets in general
  • Proficiency with product and flow research tools such as Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Broadridge, Preqin, and Bloomberg is a plus
  • Good programming knowledge (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus
  • Highly analytical and structured, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills, essential for distilling technical information into concise and compelling narratives
  • Proven ability to influence, lead projects, and manage cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excel at building relationships, as the role involves working across countries, cultures, teams, and business areas
  • Self-motivated and willing to take ownership, you demonstrate assertive follow-through and can work without close supervision
