Team Summary
The Executive Talent Acquisition (ETA) team at Visa plays a strategic role in shaping the company’s leadership pipeline and driving its long-term vision. This team manages full-cycle executive recruitment globally, from sourcing and market mapping to candidate assessment and onboarding, ensuring Visa hires the right leaders to support Visa’s growth.
What an Executive Research Manager does at Visa:
- Lead on all Executive Search research, market mapping, talent profiling and analysis relating to Executive-level positions in Asia Pacific.
- Develop relationships internally and act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and other executives on talent and market intelligence, industry trends, candidate qualification, and compensation benchmarking.
- Conduct proactive pipelining and sourcing initiatives based on industry expertise and relationships, as well as global market research and mapping, to complement and help drive Visa’s ambitious goals.
- Prepare Executive Search style reports, documents and market analysis on talent intelligence and location strategy that is impactful and compelling to a leadership audience with a clear focus on simplicity.
- Ensure all executive hires meet companywide governance and compliance deadlines and proactively ensure materials are prepared ahead of time for team / client updates and review.
- Support briefings and bring insightful market research to search calibration of candidates that will add value to the Executive Talent Acquisition strategic agenda. Proactively identify key industry issues that will affect hiring managers and senior leadership teams in the regions.
- Help develop Visa’s position in Asia Pacific as a leading technology payments organisation that is the “go-to” destination for exceptional talent. Stay abreast of all major industry, legislative and regulatory initiatives and alert the Global Executive Talent Acquisition team to talent and market trends
- Ensure that candidates from all acquisition channels (referrals, direct sourcing, internal etc…) are developed and followed through, tracking information on the company’s Applicant Tracking System, Smart Recruiters.
- Bring new ways of working to the global team. Think creatively about information sharing, collaboration opportunities and how to support one another across different time zones and cultural differences. Be a leader in your field of interest and help the team design new engagement models that will further enhance the team’s internal and external brand.
