Your Team

The Senior Fund Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of a range of investment vehicles, including mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity structures. This role involves detailed NAV validations, Cash and Position reconciliations, Leverage test analysis, working with Third Pary, Vendors and internal/external stakeholders to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Your Role

  • Validate the NAV deviations over threshold limits as part of assurance process in alignment with investment strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily fund accounting activities, including Overdraft checks, Cash & Position Monitoring, Fund Set up and maintenance, leverage test etc.
  • Collaborate with third-party fund administrators, custodians, and auditors to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support fund lifecycle events such as launches, mergers, liquidations, and restructurings by working closely with portfolio management, legal, compliance, and investor relations teams.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and risk management practices to mitigate operational and financial risks.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on evolving accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements (SEC, AIFMD, UCITS) to ensure compliance. Support and oversee completion of Business as usual (BAU) activities including ongoing transaction monitoring, management of Enhanced Due Diligence, High risk and PEP clients.
  • Support any internal audits, Compliance Monitoring and other reviews as required. Assist with complex anti-money laundering matters and complex client cases.
  • Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco’s Conduct principles.

                                                                                                               

The Experience Your Bring

  • 6 - 8 years of previous experience with Fund Accounting exposure, should have good Capital market understanding
  • Oversight/Assurance experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player, passion for collaboration
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Open-minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people’s opinions
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to cope with rapid change
