    Location: Bengaluru, IN (Hybrid)

    Position Overview

    We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our Corporate Accounting team in Bangalore, India. You will own key technical accounting areas, lead special projects, and collaborate with teams across Finance—including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Revenue Operations, Sales Finance, Procurement, Payroll, and External Reporting. This role is critical in driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with global standards. The ideal candidate has corporate accounting experience in a global organization and a strong track record of delivering high-quality work and process enhancements. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accounting Excellence: Manage accounting for multiple technical areas and ensure compliance with global standards

    • Strategic Initiatives: Lead quarter-end close meetings and spearhead process improvement projects

    • Technical Expertise: Draft technical accounting memos and provide guidance on complex accounting issues

    • System Optimization: Manage BlackLine configuration, optimize usage, and implement new modules

    • Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors for quarterly and annual reviews

    • Financial Analysis: Analyze balance sheet fluctuations and present insights to senior management

    • Policy Compliance: Partner with global finance teams to ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies

    • Leadership & Development: Mentor and motivate team members, supporting career development initiatives

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Experience: 8–12 years of corporate accounting experience, including at least 4 years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred)

    • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification strongly preferred (CPA is a plus)

    • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP; working experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BlackLine

    • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and inspire performance

    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

    • Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

    • Process Orientation: Ability to critically review procedures and implement improvements

    • Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with Indian statutory requirements and tax regulations is a plus

    • Flexibility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and during peak periods like quarter-end
