Position Summary

We are seeking a Data Strategist to lead a specialized white-glove remediation service for Moody’s top clients. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, tailored data remediation and enrichment solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and trust. The individual will serve as the central point of contact for clients, working closely with them to understand priorities, resolve issues, and achieve agreed-upon outcomes. Additionally, this role will manage groups of contract resources to enable rapid, scalable review and remediation of critical client data issues.  

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, excels at managing distributed teams, and has strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders. Familiarity with data governance, remediation workflows, and advanced tools for data analysis is essential. 

Skills and Competencies  
  • 5+ years of experience in data operations, remediation, or client-facing data services. 
  • Proven ability to manage distributed teams or contract resources effectively. 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of SQL and Power BI. 
  • Familiarity with Python and Databricks is an advantage. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of successful client engagement. 
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. 
Education 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, or a related field. 
Responsibilities  Client-Focused Data Strategy 
  • Serve as the primary liaison for high-priority client remediation projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives. 
  • Design and implement remediation strategies that meet client expectations and comply with Moody’s data governance standards. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders to foster trust and transparency. 
Leadership & Resource Management 
  • Manage and coordinate contract resources for large-scale data review and remediation projects. 
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and performance of contract teams to ensure consistency and quality. 
  • Promote a culture of accountability, precision, and client-centric service. 
Operational Excellence 
  • Develop scalable workflows to accelerate remediation processes without compromising quality. 
  • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet aggressive timelines. 
  • Maintain clear documentation of remediation activities and client communications. 
Stakeholder Engagement 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables. 
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership and clients through reports and presentations. 
Analysis & Continuous Improvement 
  • Identify recurring issues and root causes to recommend systemic improvements. 
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Databricks for tracking, reporting, and analysis. 
  • Drive best practices and process enhancements to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
