About the team
As a Mortgage Loan Officer within Zillow Home Loans, you’ll be part of Zillow Group’s FinTech division focused on delivering a high-volume, digitally driven home financing experience. This team supports homebuyers through Zillow’s digital channels, responding to active purchase intent with speed, consistency, and execution. The Digital team plays a critical role in helping customers move from inquiry to funded loan through disciplined process, operational excellence, and performance at scale.About the role
This is an opportunity to grow your career as a Mortgage Loan Officer in a fast-paced, phone-based sales environment. You’ll originate purchase mortgage loans using company-provided digital leads, guiding customers from first contact through funding. Success in this role comes from volume, responsiveness, and execution against clearly defined metrics—supported by Zillow’s technology, training, and lead flow.
This role is “remote” with restrictions. Your designated remote location is defined as your principal place of residence, which must be physically located within the state listed above Florida. You may also elect to spend some time working at a company office. Please note that your employment is contingent upon remaining in this location; any future requests to relocate to another state are subject to Company review and approval and may be denied based upon business need.
You Will Get To:
Originate purchase mortgage loans by converting company-provided digital leads through high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
Respond quickly to new leads, conduct discovery calls, and assess customers’ readiness and financing options.
Guide homebuyers through the mortgage process from application through funding with clarity and efficiency.
Manage a large pipeline of active purchase loans while meeting defined SLAs, productivity metrics, and call expectations.
Use CRM and loan origination systems (LOS) to track activity, manage follow-ups, and maintain accurate pipeline status.
Deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience through phone, email, and text communication.
Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently and improve conversion rates.
Maintain active licensing, complete required education, and participate in ongoing professional development.
This role involves the collection, storage, and use of your voiceprints (records of speech) for operational and compliance purposes.
In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

3+ years of mortgage origination experience as an active NMLS Loan Originator with multiple state licenses, or as a Loan Originator under a bank license, with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions.
Completion of the 20-hour SAFE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.
Physically located in and working from Florida.
High-volume, phone-based mortgage origination experience strongly preferred, with success converting warm or inbound purchase leads.
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a call-center or high-volume phone sales environment.
Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
Comfortable working toward defined KPIs, including call activity, conversion, and funding goals.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly over the phone.
Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
