The Finance team acts as a strategic partner to the business, ensuring strong financial discipline, controls, and decision support across the markets. They provide thought leadership on growth strategies, performance analysis, and pricing, enabling Visa to achieve both short-term targets and long-term objectives.
What a Senior Director, Head of Finance – INSA does at Visa
- Serve as a member of the senior leadership team for India & South Asia (INSA) and be the focal point for all finance-related matters.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a high standard of financial discipline, controls, decision support, and accountability within the geography.
- Act as a key advisor and thought partner to the Group Country Manager and Country Managers to facilitate delivery of short-term financial targets as well as long-term growth objectives.
- Provide strong financial thought leadership on growth strategies, current performance, business case analysis of client incentive deals, sales, marketing and product initiatives, and pricing proposals.

This role is a critical business partner to the Group Country Manager, INSA, and will play a pivotal role in managing business activities across these markets to deliver financial targets and shape strategic development for future growth.
The position will be the focal point of contact for senior management on finance-related matters in the geography and will oversee all areas of Finance including FP&A, Controllership, Sourcing, etc. This is the most senior finance position in the INSA cluster and will have influence/decision authority over FTEs, expenses, client incentives, and revenue waivers.

Required Experiences
- Minimum 15 years of commercial finance, controllership, and/or auditing experience.
- College graduate, business degree preferred, with at least 10 years of FP&A experience in a recognized, performance-driven multinational company.
- Proven commercial and analytical experience, including FP&A roles in a business unit within a global organisation.
- Prior experience successfully communicating with, influencing, and presenting to senior-level executives.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple initiatives with tight timelines.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure local compliance.
- International experience ideally within a complex, matrix management organisation.
What will also help
- Knowledge of the payments industry, particularly credit/debit card business within banking or eCommerce environments, is highly desirable.
Advanced business degrees would be an advantage.
