We have an opportunity for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture customers based at our Mackay branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
- Diagnose and repair various engines
- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
- Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Must have Heavy Vehicle Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
- Previous experience with repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications
- Kenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
- Full Time / 38 hours per week
- Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
- All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
- Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
- Local Valid Drivers License
