Job Description

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Sourcing acquisitions across a range of real estate sectors and markets

  • Research, analysis and evaluation of real estate investment opportunities

  • Developing and managing relationships with agents, owners, operating partners and investors

  • Developing a deep understanding of Client requirements

  • Managing all aspects of the acquisition process

  • Financial modelling

  • Providing investment recommendations

  • Keeping Clients updated on investment markets

  • Assisting with the preparation of Investment Committee Papers

  • Conducting due diligence and research market conditions

  • Leading the negotiation and execution of agreements and other transaction-related legal documentation with the support of internal and external counsel

  • Managing the workflow and general needs of the Australia Acquisitions team, who shall report to the Candidate

  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the Head of Australia

Education

  • Tertiary Qualified (Finance/Property/Business/Legal)

Work Experience/Knowledge

  • 10+ years’ experience in real estate

  • Previous acquisition experience

  • Experience across a combination of Core, Value-add, Debt strategies is desirable

  • Strong network of industry contacts

  • An understanding of tax and structuring of investments

  • Demonstrable project management experience

  • Proven track record of real estate stakeholder relationships

  • Skilled in financial modelling, analysis and valuation
