Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Sourcing acquisitions across a range of real estate sectors and markets
Research, analysis and evaluation of real estate investment opportunities
Developing and managing relationships with agents, owners, operating partners and investors
Developing a deep understanding of Client requirements
Managing all aspects of the acquisition process
Financial modelling
Providing investment recommendations
Keeping Clients updated on investment markets
Assisting with the preparation of Investment Committee Papers
Conducting due diligence and research market conditions
Leading the negotiation and execution of agreements and other transaction-related legal documentation with the support of internal and external counsel
Managing the workflow and general needs of the Australia Acquisitions team, who shall report to the Candidate
Other duties and projects as assigned by the Head of Australia
Education
Tertiary Qualified (Finance/Property/Business/Legal)
Work Experience/Knowledge
10+ years’ experience in real estate
Previous acquisition experience
Experience across a combination of Core, Value-add, Debt strategies is desirable
Strong network of industry contacts
An understanding of tax and structuring of investments
Demonstrable project management experience
Proven track record of real estate stakeholder relationships
Abilities/Personal attributes
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Able to influence and build relationships across all levels of staff
Skilled in financial modelling, analysis and valuation
