In this role, based in Munich to ensure close collaboration with key German editors, the PR agency, and the local team, you will lead the press and media relations activities for Dassault Systèmes in the EuroCentral region (DACH and Poland). Your mission is to strengthen Dassault Systèmes’ positioning as the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, increase media visibility, and enhance the company’s reputation among key stakeholders. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will work closely with regional management and global communications teams.
Role Description & Responsibilities
- Define and execute a regional press and communications strategy aligned with the global PR framework
- Manage and coordinate external PR agencies, including budget, KPIs, and performance tracking
- Build, manage and strengthen relationships with diverse media audiences; cultivate strong partnerships with key press influencers and tailor messages to effectively reach targeted audiences
- Position Dassault Systèmes as a thought leader through the creation, writing, and oversight of impactful stories, press releases, and customer success cases
- Support general awareness efforts through a range of PR activities, including press events, press releases, article placements, interviews and joint initiatives with Dassault Systèmes partners.
- Identify PR opportunities from sales, marketing, and event activities and support regional and third-party events
- Define and manage the regional spokesperson strategy, including executive preparation and media training
Qualifications
- University degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in press relations and communications, ideally in an international high-tech environment (in-house and agency)
- Strong strategic mindset with proven experience in developing and executing PR programs
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling media content
- Established network within German business and trade media and experience working with C-level executives
- Fluent in German and English, with a high level of autonomy, leadership skills, and intercultural competence
- Strong interest in new technologies, ease working within an engineering environment and the willingness to travel regularly within the EuroCentral region and occasionally internationally
