- Deep Expertise in Capital Markets: Extensive understanding of capital markets with demonstrated visibility and presence in relevant structured finance sectors such as corporate and esoteric ABS including digital infrastructure. Prior work experiences with other industry leaders are a plus.

- Advanced master’s degree in economics, statistics, applied mathematics, financial engineering or related quantitative field with relevant work experience, or bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, applied mathematics, financial engineering or related quantitative field with at least fifteen or more years of experience as a credit analyst.
- Manage Transaction Assignments and Team Operations: Support head of the Corporate ABS New Ratings team in assigning new transactions, and being a senior representative to ratings committees on either quantitative or qualitative aspects or as a committee chair with exceptional quality, accuracy and consistency. Work closely with stakeholders and customers to support operational excellence and continuity. Foster cross-team collaboration in analytics, process and research.
- Maintain Analytical Rigor and Integrity: Work with the team to produce comprehensive, logical, accurate, and compliant work products, fostering a culture of analytical excellence, particularly when working under tight deadlines and engaging with sophisticated counterparties.
- Drive Thought Leadership and Premier Customer Service: Deliver premier customer service timely and effectively, proactively identify credit trends, and produce timely, insightful research. Coordinate and conduct strategic outreach for the team. Support head of the team to sustain Moody’s leadership in key growth areas such as digital infrastructure and other esoteric asset classes.
- Risk Mitigation: Actively assess, manage, and mitigate risks in work processes to uphold Moody’s reputation and operational standards.
- Talent Development: Mentor and develop team members into effective senior analysts, thought leaders, and future leaders. Support their career growth through targeted coaching and professional development initiatives.
- Process Optimization and Digitalization: Improve processes to enhance consistency, reduce risk, and make workflows more technology-friendly. Drive tangible progress toward digitizing workflows, analytical components, and research.
- Innovation and Change Leadership: Foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement, encouraging innovative approaches to analytics, process simplification, and digital transformation.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Moody’s Ratings is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Senior Vice President in the US Corporate ABS New Ratings team. The team is responsible for assigning new ratings to a wide variety of securitizations backed by corporate assets, including digital infrastructure (data centers, digital connectivity such as wireless towers and fiber), equipment & transportation (equipment, rental cars, vehicle fleets, aircraft), whole business, intellectual properties, music royalties and small business loans, amongst others. The individual will play an instrumental role in strengthening Moody’s credibility with external market participants through robust credit analysis, insightful research publications and strategic outreach. As a proactive and energetic change agent, you will champion continuous improvement and operational excellence while mitigating risks. This role involves senior and expert contribution to rating committees and mentoring a team of talented analysts and fostering a high-performance culture. The person will also help the team manager to manage day-to-day operations of the team.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $233,700.00 - $335,500.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
