Job Description

Ensure medical compliance while aligning with international and domestic business development strategies.

  • Identify opportunities and medical needs/ requests propose strategies and manage execution of agreed strategic medical projects linked with brand strategies.
  • Cooperate with clinical research team to provide appropriate clinical input regarding the therapeutic area and jointly work in identifying and contacting potential sites and investigators.
  • Provide response to questions and requests for medical information from the Medical Community and the sales team, based on practical and theoretical knowledge, utilizing all available resources where appropriate, including pharmacovigilance issues.
  • For medical related issues, jointly work within brand team in preparation and participation in scientific meetings and events.
  • To support Brand Managers in preparing promotional material and review it to ensure the highest level of clinical and scientific accuracy. Provide scientific & medical expertise to support the related brand team and contribute proactively to the successful implementation of brand plans.
  • Provide medical trainings to internal & external partners (ie speaker briefings).
  • Build long-term relationships with identified KOLs, to achieve medical objectives through regular and continuous external engagements.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Medicine or Pharmacy,
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Science Liaison or Medical Manager,
  • Fluency in English,
  • Experience in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for the assigned therapeutic area, and in medical research in general,
  • Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of medical affairs to advance the medical and scientific objectives of a pharmaceutical company,
  • Demonstrated expertise in the scientific methods applied to clinical research and current legislative/regulatory controls applicable to this research.
