DESCRIPTION
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic Graduate Product Engineers to join our Power Systems segment based in Sandwich, Kent, UK. This role is a full-time hybrid 2-year Graduate Program requiring the successful individual to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Drive Product Quality : By investigating product issues and applying structured problem-solving techniques, you’ll help ensure products meet high-quality standards and customer expectations.
Enable Informed Decision-Making : Your ability to gather input from multiple stakeholders and deliver clear recommendations will influence critical product decisions across the lifecycle.
Advance Technical Processes : Executing established processes like Engineering Standard Work (ESW), iDFMEA, and FIRG will strengthen the reliability and safety of components and systems.
Support Innovation and Development: Working within frameworks like Product Preceding Technology (PPT) and Value Package Introduction (VPI), you’ll contribute to the development of future products and technologies.
Resolve Complex Problems : Owning problem resolution for moderately complex components and systems will reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Improve Cross-Functional Collaboration : Acting as a central coordination point between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customer teams will streamline communication and accelerate project progress.
Enhance Process Efficiency: By engaging in continuous improvement of systems and processes, you’ll help optimize workflows and reduce waste across the product lifecycle.
Build Technical Expertise: Applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges will not only progress projects but also position you as a growing technical resource within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong foundation in mechatronic systems, electrical and mechanical design, and the ability to apply modeling, simulation, and analysis for sound design decisions. Competence in verification, validation, and reliability improvement is essential.
- Ability to use systematic methods to identify root causes, manage product risk, and validate requirements through analytical, simulation, and physical testing.
- Effective communication and collaboration across teams, making timely and high-quality decisions, driving results under complexity, and valuing diverse perspectives.
- A minimum of a BEng in Electrical Engineering, with preference for professional registration (e.g., IET). Or Post-graduate (Master’s degree).
