Job Details

About the role:
Works under supervision to perform maintenance on existing software products or implement straightforward new enhancements.
Provides status updates for their own scope of work within projects.
Actively contributes to coding, testing, and debugging tasks in collaboration with Engineers and Senior Engineers on more complex projects.
Participates in project planning sessions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Develops an understanding of microservices concepts and gains exposure to basic observability tools.

Sphere of Influence
Collaborates within the immediate project or QA/Software Development Engineer team.
Works with colleagues and junior team members to solve problems and share knowledge.
Engages with cross-functional teams to execute tasks and deliver solutions.
Collaborates with key stakeholders in an agile environment to align on objectives and priorities.

About you:
Carries out unit testing (Test Driven Development) to ensure quality, reliability, and that applications meet client and business needs.
Translates technical requirements into application code across both front-end and back-end development.
Implements solutions within established standards, security best practices, and with guidance from more senior engineers.
Participates in code review processes to enhance learning and ensure code quality.
Implements Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with moderate guidance to support efficient and scalable development.
Works with database and big data technologies as well as data storage solutions.
Responds to routine or standard requests from internal or external customers.
Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements, with feedback and review from senior developers.
