The Strategy Change Management Analyst is a vital and seasoned professional role within the Mortgage Originations Business Support Services, specifically supporting Mortgage Business Readiness within Change Governance. This position applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to govern and facilitate key Change Management activities, requirements, and artifacts throughout the Change Lifecycle for various types of change requests. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflows for the area or function, integrating subject matter and industry expertise.
This role requires an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function and how they coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. The role will evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where the development of an approach or action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong analytical skills are essential to filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required, as the role regularly assumes informal/formal leadership within teams and is involved in coaching and training new recruits. This position has a significant impact on project success by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitating services to others in area of specialization. This re-introduced role is crucial to supporting the Mortgage Growth Strategy and ensuring key business objectives can be achieved by upholding Change Management rigor.
Responsibilities:
- Govern and Facilitate Change Management: Oversee and drive all aspects of the Change Lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring strict adherence to the Enterprise Program and Project Management Policy (EPPMP) and maintaining comprehensive evidence.
- Review requested changes for clear scope and requirements.
- Facilitate changes using Appian workflows.
- Act as a Change Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Business Requestors.
- Assess change implications for New Product processes.
- Collaborate with Book of Work partners to monitor changes through prioritization and funding processes.
- Monitor and update change record status weekly, proactively identifying and escalating risks.
- Verify appropriate artifacts for change implementation prior to closure.
- Manage and distribute weekly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports on changes in queue.
- Provide Project Management Support: Offer project management support for business risk and control oversight, as well as other large-scale global strategic initiatives.
- Generate Business Intelligence: Produce management reports focusing on business intelligence and key investment initiatives.
- Oversee Data Analysis: Direct and conduct data collection, evaluation, and ad hoc analyses to support management decisions and stretch assignments.
- Develop Presentations: Create, develop, and structure compelling presentation decks for diverse stakeholder audiences, including senior management.
- Drive Strategic Solutions: Develop and manage strategic solutions, providing visibility to senior management and fostering career progression within the group.
- Maintain Documentation and Policies:
- Routinely review and update User Guides for Appian and Project Tracking System (PTS) record management.
- Review and update the Change Management Playbook semi-annually or as needed.
- Assess and Mitigate Risk: Proactively assess and manage risks associated with business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, apply sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in change management, project management, or a related field.
- Required skills include strong project management capabilities, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills are essential to oversee cross-disciplinary work streams and manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.
- Interest and experience in the financial services industry, in particular in the areas of technology and data mining.
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, understand business objectives, and align stakeholders to drive results.
- Confidence and ability to communicate with leaders across various levels of the organization.
- Thoughtful analysis of problems that may surface throughout the program lifecycle and ability to think through and present viable solutions.
- Written and verbal communication experience in a large complex organization; the ability to organize messaging by stakeholder.
- Proficiency with SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Access.
- Mortgage experience preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
