About the role:
The Sr Assoc Product Management, Private Credit focuses on supporting business development strategy initiatives for private credit business across broadly syndicated loans, CLOs, direct lending and distressed credit & special situations. It involves close collaboration with the private credit team: Portfolio Managers, Client Portfolio Managers, and Product Managers. As well as distribution, marketing, compliance, operations, and other key functions. Responsibilities include assisting with new capability launches, product positioning, market research, competitive analysis, and broader product management efforts. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of private credit markets and strong communication, problem‑solving, curiosity, and organizational skills. The role also requires deep knowledge of each supported investment strategy, including portfolio themes, holdings, risk characteristics, positioning, outlook, and performance.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage and produce marketing collateral for private credit capabilities in the region.
- Lead responses to client inquiries and support development of tailored RFP/RFI content.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams, collaborating across distribution, marketing, product, compliance, and operations.
- Support and partner on strategic initiatives and ad‑hoc projects.
- Build deep expertise in product offerings, investment strategies, team structure, and key messaging.
- Coordinate and craft responses related to capital raising and ongoing client relationship needs.
- Create and refine marketing materials that effectively highlight core differentiators.
- Drive development of high‑quality, timely client deliverables and contribute to private‑credit thought leadership through commentaries, whitepapers, and related content.
Requirements of the role:
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with strong curiosity and the ability to quickly learn complex subjects.
- Brings project management experience or relevant private credit/private markets background.
- Proven ability to independently lead multiple projects while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Experienced in working with fund data, analytics, and performance evaluation.
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, and Microsoft Office.
- Capable of performing basic financial modeling exercises.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, private credit, private markets, and fixed income concepts.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and demonstrates strong communication, organization, judgment, and attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000/ year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
