The Business Manager APAC Global Product Operations will play an integral role in the organization’s success, helping to ensure that all necessary product interactions with key functional partners are operating effectively. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and the proven ability to build relationships and influence across Product, Distribution, Marketing, Investments, Finance, Technology, Risk and other internal functions. The role will report to the Global Head of Product Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Member of Product Operations Senior Leadership Team.
Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with all Global Product Key Operating Documents, Policies and Procedures.
Support regional product committees or the respective parts of the regional management committees including the preparation of meeting materials, distribution lists, calendar invites, meeting minutes and key actions tracking.
Oversee seed and co-investment capital for APAC Product
Day-to-day management of regional pricing activities (e.g., rate card development and maintenance, running pricing exception process, support product reviews, commercial MFN oversight, etc.)
Organizational Support and oversight for the following functions.
Project Management and Tracking
Business Continuity Management
OGSM Coordination & Tracking
Business Process Design and Improvement
Portfolio Manager departure management
Regional Input into organizational goals such as OGSMs
Townhall run of show, talking points and materials
Coordination with Strategy and Finance as appropriate.
Coordinate global product technology and operations requests; interface with Invesco Tech & Ops to prioritize and implement changes.
Reporting and Tracking of KPIs, e.g., product financial performance, seed capital use, product activity.
Financial impacts revenue sharing, fee holidays, exception pricing
Review and support for business cases pertaining to product initiatives.
Business Communication support for the Product Executive Leadership.
Ad-hoc Projects
About the requirement:
Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline, MBA and/or CFA preferred.
7 years relevant work experience in technical and business operation roles in financial services, with an established record of accomplishments and business results.
Strong understanding of asset management industry and products.
Excellent judgment and decision-making skills combined with strong principles of good conduct and ethical behavior.
The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both written and verbally including distilling complex topics into clear/articulate pros, cons, recommendations.
Flexibility and willingness to lead a broad range of functions, projects and tasks.
Proactive mindset with a natural ability to identify opportunities to make impactful efficiency gains.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
Superior organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
