Core Publishing Solutions Business Development Intern – Summer 2026

Our 1.3 million square foot manufacturing facility in Eagan, Minnesota, is one of the largest printing, warehousing, and fulfillment facilities in the United States. We have a strong history of creating quality products for businesses within Thomson Reuters and for external customers around the globe.

We are looking for a Business Development Intern for Summer 2026 on the Core Publishing Solutions team that will make an impact by driving sales through lead generation, calls, and campaigns. 

About the Role

In this opportunity as Business Development Intern, you will: 

  • Assist with the development, execution and measurement of sales campaigns designed to increase target market leads and drive sales for Thomson Reuters Core Publishing Solutions
  • Sell Thomson Reuters’ Core Publishing Solutions services on outbound calls using a consultative and solutions-based sales approach
  • Actively coordinate with the Business Development Manager to maintain, develop, and grow a rigorous pipeline, with accurate forecasting
  • Actively prospect for new sales opportunities with tools such as LinkedIn and HubSpot Marketing system and Google Analytics through our dedicated website.
  • Capture and record customer information and sales activity data into Salesforce.com (CRM)
  • Assume other responsibilities as required by management

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Business Development Intern if you:

  • Are a 3rd or 4th year (preferred) student in business, sales & marketing or a related field
  • Have previous sales experience
  • Have proven oral and written communication skills
  • Exhibit strong analytical and quantitative skills (Experience with Google Analytics, Sales Force, HubSpot, WordPress a plus)
  • Planning and project management skills
  • Ability to take direction on projects
  • Ability to adapt well to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Teams

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation hourly range for this role is $18 USD - $34 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
