Work You'll Do
The AWS and Snowflake Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Snowflake. This role combines deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, and analytics to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms for enterprise data needs.

Work You'll Do
The AWS and Snowflake Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Snowflake. This role combines deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, and analytics to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms for enterprise data needs.
- Cloud Solution Design:
Architect end-to-end cloud solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, etc.) and Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics. - Data Integration:
Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake from various sources using AWS tools (Glue, Data Pipeline, etc.). - Security & Compliance:
Ensure cloud architectures meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements (IAM, encryption, VPC, etc.). - Performance Optimization:
Optimize Snowflake data models, queries, and AWS infrastructure for cost, speed, and scalability. - Collaboration:
Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Automation & DevOps:
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform; automate deployments and monitoring. - Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide technical guidance and support for cloud and data platform issues

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years in cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in AWS and Snowflake.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services and architecture best practices
- Expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, schema design, and query optimization
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (AWS Glue, Talend, Informatica, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, IaC)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, limited sponsorship sponsorship available
- Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred), Snowflake SnowPro Certification (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Experience in agile delivery environments
