As a Sales Specialist, you will drive commercial performance across the Northern Malaysia territory by identifying opportunities, supporting customers, and expanding Stryker’s presence in the market. This role empowers you to deliver meaningful results while contributing to better healthcare outcomes.
What You Will Do- Manage sales activities, case coverage, and monthly forecasting for the assigned product portfolio and territory (Penang & Northern Malaysia).
- Achieve sales targets through effective territory planning, account strategy development, and execution of commercial initiatives.
- Conduct product presentations, evaluations, and in‑service training for customers to support adoption and utilization.
- Support key events including trade shows, workshops, and customer programs.
- Prepare quotations, assist with customer enquiries, and coordinate payment collection in line with company SOPs.
- Provide regular updates on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
- Handle product complaints promptly and in accordance with compliance and SOP requirements.
- Forecast inventory needs based on market demand, customer pipelines, and quotation activity.
- Support Regulatory Affairs with product inquiries and new product commercialization processes.
- Assist in commissioning new product sets, CER, and IRR submissions.
- Uphold Stryker’s compliance culture and ensure all business activities adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales or customer‑facing experience.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Experience in Orthopedics or related medical device portfolios.
- Prior experience conducting product demonstrations or supporting cases in clinical environments.
- Familiarity with sales pipeline planning and CRM tools.
- Work arrangement: Field‑based role covering Northern Malaysia (Penang, Kedah, Perlis, and Perak as applicable).
- Travel: Regular travel within the territory; must be able to drive.
