The Visa Digital Issuer Solutions Product Management team is seeking an outstanding Director, Commercialization to own and drive Visa’s global digital enablement go‑to‑market and growth strategy. This leader will be accountable for commercial success, market adoption, and regional execution across Visa’s Digital Issuer Solutions portfolio.
The Visa Digital Issuer Solutions Product Management team is responsible for global product strategy and execution of numerous digital banking, mobile and online-related initiatives such as the Visa Digital Enablement SDK, Visa Transaction Controls, Global Customer Assistance Services, Visa Travel Notifications and more.
This role will meaningfully contribute to the commercialization and GTM activities of multiple products across our Digital Enablement portfolio.
Reporting into the Sr. Director Commercialization lead for the team, this role sits at the intersection of multiple product, solutions, operations and commercialization organizations and functions requiring organizational savvy and strong interpersonal skills. In addition, this individual will be a thought leader in GTM strategy and business growth with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines.
This person will focus on defining product/portfolio GTM strategy, internal and external partnerships, GTM and regional alignment, product capabilities and commercial success across the product lifecycle for Visa Digital Issuer Solutions capabilities. This will be accomplished through a strong understanding of regional business partner and customer's business needs. This highly motivated individual will develop and execute our Digital Issuer Solutions GTM strategy, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market share for DES products.
Responsibilities may include:
Partnerships: Build and grow strategic partnerships with regional sales teams, issuers, processors, fintech partners, and ecosystem participants to drive market adoption and revenue growth.
Product SME: Act as commercial owner for a product or portfolio, defining GTM strategy, positioning, packaging, and pricing constructs in partnership with Product, Sales, and Finance.
Business Case Development: Partner with multiple internal teams and external partners to research and quantify market opportunities including accountability for revenue performance, adoption metrics, and commercial KPIs over the product lifecycle.
Feasibility Analysis: Contribute to the assessment of new product opportunities and enhancements, size market opportunities, determine client interest and perform feasibility analysis.
Product Construct & Value Proposition: Develop appropriate product constructs and articulable value propositions and success metrics through insights from market trends, competition and customer needs.
Research: Drive research to identify market, customer and end user needs to develop roadmap that leads to commercial success. Clearly articulate the value of the product and seek opportunities to connect client needs with product offerings.
Product Socialization: Lead executive level product and commercialization reviews, influencing prioritization, investment decisions, and regional rollouts across Visa.
The ideal candidate must possess a unique blend of leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, and commercialization skills, as well as have a strong understanding of business, technical and operational aspects of product management and go to market activities.
The candidate must be able to work independently, with minimal-to-no day-to-day guidance, and be adept at collaborating with internal and external team members to remove barriers and identify creative solutions when issues arise. Additionally, industry-leading experience in the areas of FinTech, digital banking, digital payments, issuer processing and payment network processing is highly desirable.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- 8+ years of product management or project management experience
- Demonstrated experience leading go‑to‑market execution with sales teams, including field enablement, client sell‑in, and launch readiness
- You have experience operating in high‑growth, fast‑moving, or “startup‑within‑enterprise” environments preferred
- You have experience in mobile/digital banking, FinTech, payments and/or financial services industry is a strong plus
- Comfort with high-level, strategic thinking, including willingness to be an active and outspoken participant in decision-making
- You have demonstrated experience developing business cases, supporting the creation of financial models and detailed forecasts and launching new product initiatives.
- You have strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are required. In particular, candidate will be expected to build proficiency in effectively communicating business and technical issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally as needed
- Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams around the world and across different time zones
- Experience with product development life cycle, including planning, development of product roadmap, defining and supporting goals and strategies, and ongoing management
- Demonstrated creative problem solving with ability to collaborate and build consensus across stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience with partner management to foster effective relationships that result in open communication from the partner is a strong plus
- Strong business acumen, negotiation and decision-making skills along with a global, customer-oriented mindset required

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 192,300.00 to 307,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
