Job Summary
This role applies comprehensive technical knowledge to perform skilled maintenance activities that support manufacturing business needs in a machine shop environment. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to select and utilize appropriate tools, machinery, and specialty equipment, while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols when working with electricity and other industrial energy sources. The role acts as a formal technical resource, leading and coordinating others, and demonstrates the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changes within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards promptly.
- Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Promote an interdependent safety culture by looking out for one another.
- Correct hazards within individual control and capability.
- Recognize environmental impacts of work activities and minimize negative effects.
- Actively participate in HSE training programs.
Maintenance & Technical Delivery
- Perform and document preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities for machine shop equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC, SPM, and conventional machines to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Apply working knowledge of Fanuc CNC systems to diagnose and resolve machine issues.
- Support equipment failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using appropriate tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
- Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet business and operational goals.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship in all maintenance activities.
- Ensure all process documentation and quality procedures are current and followed.
- Perform quality inspections and raise issues to minimize cost, safety, and quality risks.
- Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.
- Actively identify manufacturing constraints and implement solutions to improve processes.
Leadership & Teamwork
- Act as a formal technical resource by leading and coordinating team members with lower capability levels.
- Communicate effectively with assigned teams and cross-functional support groups.
- Collaborate with peers and support staff to solve problems and improve manufacturing performance.
- Participate actively in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to enhance safety, quality, process efficiency, material flow, and employee development.
- Complete required training and personal development in line with business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience as permitted by applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing or authorization to comply with export control or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of machine shop maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with CNC and SPM machines , including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Working knowledge of Fanuc CNC control systems .
- Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control system safety.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operating manuals.
Experience
- Significant relevant work experience with in-depth technical knowledge gained through specialized training and hands-on manufacturing or maintenance roles.
