About the Department/ Team:
Human Resources plays a critical role in enabling firm-wide strategic initiatives by cultivating an environment where talented people thrive. Our Compensation team designs and administers competitive, equitable, and market-aligned pay programs that drive engagement and retention. We partner with leaders to ensure compensation practices support business goals while promoting fairness, transparency, and compliance.
About the Role:
As a Compensation Manager, you will lead the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs that align with business objectives and market trends. In this individual contributor role, you will provide strategic guidance to HR and business leaders, leveraging data-driven insights to influence decisions on pay structures, incentive plans, and governance. This role requires deep expertise in compensation principles, strong business acumen, and the ability to consult effectively across the organization.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Designing and maintaining base pay structures, incentive programs, and job leveling frameworks aligned with business strategy.
Leading market benchmarking and compensation surveys to ensure competitive positioning.
Providing consultative guidance on offers, promotions, and pay adjustments for complex roles.
Developing and administering annual merit, bonus, and long-term incentive processes.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Partnering with HR, Finance, and senior leadership to model compensation scenarios and inform budgeting decisions.
Leveraging HRIS and compensation tools (e.g., Workday) to analyze data and deliver actionable insights.
Driving process improvements and best practices across compensation programs.
· Requirements of the Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
6+ years of progressive compensation experience, including program design and market analysis.
Expertise in job evaluation, incentive plan design, and compensation governance.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and compensation modeling tools.
Ability to influence and consult with senior leaders using data-driven insights.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and compensation survey methodologies.
Knowledge of FLSA and other relevant labor regulations.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
