The Invesco Structured Investments team manages a wide range of strategies to support the broader Invesco Fixed Income platform. Its mandate spans the residential and commercial agency and non-agency mortgage-backed sectors as well as the asset-backed securities sector with the goal of delivering best-in-class fund performance. The team manages approximately $44 bn USD across a variety of strategies including mutual funds, ETFs, institutional separately managed accounts, and an Agency-focused mortgage REIT.
The Portfolio Manager will serve as a key member of the team responsible for evaluating, selecting and positioning Agency MBS and related investments across Invesco-managed products.
Responsibilities:
Apply Agency MBS expertise to generate and implement investment ideas through comprehensive analysis of specified pools, CMOs, TBAs, and other agency mortgage derivatives
Manage portfolios focused primarily on Agency MBS across various investment vehicles, including mutual funds, ETFs and separately managed institutional accounts
Collaborate with portfolio management colleagues on investment strategies managed by the broader Structured Investments and Invesco Fixed Income team
Employ a relative value-oriented mindset when assessing cross-sector asset allocation opportunities across the universe of structured products and other investment grade credit sectors
Add value through design and execution of advanced hedging strategies
Develop and communicate investment outlook to internal and external stakeholders
Build trusted relationships with sell-side counterparties to facilitate best execution on Agency MBS sourcing and trading
Cultivate strong, lasting partnerships with current and prospective retail and institutional clients
Commercialize Agency MBS and broader structured products investment capabilities through product development and marketing efforts
Qualifications:
10+ years of direct experience in analyzing, trading, and managing risk in Agency MBS including TBA, specified pools, CMOs, and derivatives
CFA or MBA preferred
Comprehensive understanding of all facets of Agency MBS and related macroeconomic, financial market, and regulatory dynamics
Significant knowledge of other structured products sectors
Expertise in design and implementation of hedging strategies via swaps, futures, swaptions, and other interest rate derivatives
Experience managing levered portfolios is beneficial
Command of industry tools including Bloomberg, Tradeweb, Yield Book, DataQuery, etc.
Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin platform is beneficial
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
Demonstrated success in driving investment outcomes through decisive risk-taking and portfolio management
Proficiency in quantitative methods and analytical mindset
Ability to articulate a comprehensive investment framework and adapt it to meet specific client objectives

Commercially oriented mindset
Strong written and verbal presentation skills and ability to work constructively as a key member of a dynamic investment team
