We’re seeking someone to join our Wealth Management Technology team as a Java Engineer, in Analytics Intelligence & Data Tech to architect and develop Java applications leveraging Springboot, microservices, system design and DSA.
Analytics, Intelligence and Data Technology (AIDT) enables and drives strategic data initiatives and business capabilities across Wealth Management.

This is a Lead Software Engineer position at Vice President Level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:
You will work closely with other architects and engineering leadership to understand requirements and ensure enterprise best architecture practices are adopted in product
Providing direction to the product development teams with regards to planning, definition, and high-level solution design, establishing critical non-functional requirements and participating in defining other functional requirements.
You must be comfortable presenting your ideas to all levels of management, technical and non-technical audiences, and guiding engineering teams in their implementation.
Perform technical design reviews and peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices.
Build reference architecture and solutions that are flexible and can evolve with business needs
Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment
Drive innovation by using innovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base around cloud, microservices, high transaction databases, and API-enabled platforms and products Qualifications:
Financial Services or FinTech experience is a plus
What you’ll bring to the role:
10+ years of hands-on in backend application development utilizing the Java, System Designing, Architecture, Spring Boot, Microservices framework.
Good experience in System/Application design, Design Patterns, Data Structure Algorithms.
Experience in GO Language will be added Advantage
Experience in the development of service oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns and data structure algorithms.
Hands-on experience building services using cloud native technologies and enterprise-scale experience with migrating and decomposing monoliths into services.
Expert knowledge of cloud native and microservices architecture, design principles and technologies and can mentor teams in implementing.
Understanding of how-to design and leverage IaaS, PaaS and SaaS delivery models
Experience designing products leveraging network, security, compute and storage domain
Deep understanding and experience in one of the public clouds (AWS, Azure) native services.Strong Skills in relational database (preferably Sybase, Oracle, MSSql)
Experience with delivery of cloud infrastructure automation, DevOps and CI/CD
Contribution in open-source community project is big plus.At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
