As a Field Service Engineer in the New Zealand, you’ll directly support healthcare teams by ensuring our devices operate safely, reliably, and compliantly. What You Will Do
- Repair and test electronic and mechanical Stryker devices to manufacturer specifications.
- Complete annual checks, calibrations, and preventive maintenance activities onsite in line with regulatory requirements.
- Install Stryker systems and perform hardware and software upgrades at customer locations.
- Document all service activities accurately to ensure full traceability and compliance.
- Support internal and external customers by delivering technical assistance and training.
- Manage your service schedule in coordination with Customer Service to meet service contract commitments.
- Action product recalls, field safety notices, and field action requirements in collaboration with regulatory teams.
- Escalate service opportunities, product issues, and customer insights to relevant internal teams for follow‑up.
What You Will Need
Required
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Software, Medical Physics, or a related technology field.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred
- Experience in medical electronics, healthcare technology, or a hospital environment.
- Experience using administrative and technical IT systems.
Additional Information
- This role requires regular travel within the assigned region.
- Work takes place across varied environments, including workshops, hospitals, and operating theatres.
- Electrical licensing in New Zealand is required based on the electrical work performed.
