What you will do-
The Sr. Field Inventory Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records across systems and physical stock in compliance with company policy. This role is responsible for reviewing and recording count adjustments within ERP, investigates complex discrepancies, performs deeper root cause analysis, and identifies inventory trends and compliance risks. The Sr. Analyst partners with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, provide recommendations, and serves as a resource for inventory compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, is a self-started and is able to work independently when resolving complex inventory challenges.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure ERP accurately reflects results from field inventory counts and reconciliations
Obtain proper approvals from all levels of management according to policy
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through data analysis, system audits, and communication with branch, finance, and financial compliance team
Communicate variances with sales partners and facilities management
Prepare and maintain documentation for monthly cycle count audits, ensuring adherence to policies
Collaborate with internal and external auditors by gathering and providing required inventory documentation
Help monitor and analyze shrink expense, providing management with commentary on variances
Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement. Ie. Variance Percentages, Dollar Variances, Branch / Location / Rep / Counter trends, etc.
Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and control
Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and reconciliation timeliness and report out to key stakeholders
Build strong, cross-functional relationships to promote collaboration and problem-solving
Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required
Travel required to perform physical verification of process’s
What you need-
Bachelor’s degree preferred or 6 years of additional experience required in lieu of degree - required
2+ years of relevant experience in medical device operations or field inventory - required
Stryker Oracle knowledge for Joint Replacement (JR) and legacy Stryker Trauma products/inventory - required.
Familiarity with inventory cycle counting processes and audit requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Power BI - preferred
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
