Main responsibilities
Assist the Facility Manager with the closure of the Balma site. Occasional travel.
Assist the Facility Manager in resuming the management of the other sites in France.
Process and follow up on requests addressed to our department.
Plan internal audits on site cleaning, together with managers, to improve employee well-being.
Manage site events: Town Hall, visits, SWN, Site Committee, etc.
Monitor intervention requests.
Draft and follow up on Handyman tickets.
Serve as an evacuation team member.
Ensure the safety of individuals and the site, as well as the proper condition of fire safety equipment.
Be part of the contact list in case of calls from the remote monitoring service.
Come up with ideas to reduce waste and put them into action.
Plan environmental awareness workshops for employees.
Continue SYK France 3R initiatives (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Welcome new hires, manage lockers, etc.
Monitor energy consumption: gas, water, electricity.
Act as the Facility Manager’s backup during absences.
Assist the Facility Manager with upcoming projects
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Work Environment, Facilities Management.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Facilities Management.

The Facilities Assistant must be organized and multitasking, capable of quickly analyzing a problem or a department's needs. Key skills include:
- Rigorous, efficient, and methodical organization; ability to diagnose problems;
- Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills;
- Project management knowledge;
- Technical knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep;
- Active listening, analytical skills, and critical thinking, combined with strong problem-solving abilities;
- Adaptability and speed of execution in all circumstances;
- A collaborative spirit and a customer service orientation.
