DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented WMS Super User to join our Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems (CDBS) Logistics team in Plainfield, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- WMS Expertise: Ability to analyze, configure, and continuously improve the Warehouse Management System while ensuring stable functionality and effective postlaunch support.
- Technical Problem Solving: Skill in resolving user requirements, exceptions, and software issues by partnering closely with Operations and IT to drive timely, accurate solutions.
- Data & Analytics Proficiency: Strong capability in SQL, Power BI, and Excel to perform detailed data analysis that enhances WMS performance and supports operational decision making.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Commitment to identifying inefficiencies, implementing enhancements, and aligning WMS configurations with evolving distribution and operational needs.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships with key business users, management, and technical teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and smooth execution.
- Documentation & Training: Skill in documenting systems, processes, and Super User instructions to support knowledge transfer, consistency, and operational readiness.
- Project & Launch Readiness: Capacity to actively participate in WMS configuration, testing, and coordination of all postlaunch initiatives to ensure successful deployments.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Clear, structured communication that keeps stakeholders informed, engaged, and confident throughout system changes and improvements.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Demonstrated role competence is required. College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in applicable field is preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or BA degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or a field related to support application area.
- Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively work with people with varying degrees of technical experience both inside and outside of the enterprise.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in SQL programming, Power BI and Excel software is an asset.
