The role:
The Private Markets Product (PMP) Business Manager plays a critical role in enabling the success of the Invesco Private Markets (IPM) platform by ensuring efficient, consistent, and strategically aligned coordination across Product, Investment, Distribution, and key functional partners. This role supports execution of the IPM business strategy and strengthens connectivity across stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Drive global private markets product strategy execution as part of the Product Leadership Team, managing the end‑to‑end product pipeline and future roadmap.
- Lead forward‑looking pipeline planning (1–2 years+), coordinating with client channels and supporting annual strategic and multi‑year business prioritization.
- Establish and manage PMP operating cadence, ensuring leadership visibility into product initiatives, risks, and pipeline progress.
- Prepare and coordinate materials for Fund Boards, the Invesco Board, executive committees, and strategic partnership governance.
- Oversee management reporting for seed and co‑investment capital, partnering with Product Leads to ensure accurate governance and transparency.
- Own PMP‑level KPI frameworks, dashboards, and OGSM alignment; support firm‑wide and regional goal‑setting processes.
- Lead internal communications and manage content for PMP leadership meetings, all‑hands, newsletters, and executive communications.
- Drive process design and continuous improvement across PMP while supporting cross‑functional, high‑priority strategic initiatives.
Requirements of the role:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services with a track record of technical leadership and measurable business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials (MBA and/or CFA) strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the asset‑management industry; private‑markets experience preferred.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, ethical decision‑making, and high standards of professional conduct.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear recommendations.
- Flexible leader capable of driving a wide range of functions, projects, and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Proactive, analytical problem‑solver with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a high performance bar and a focus on delivering impactful results.
The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $155,000 annually. The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location.
