DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Project Manager - Sales to join our team in Sales from anywhere in the U.S.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Lead multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring clear scope, objectives, and performance goals aligned with business priorities.
  • Drive structured project planning sessions with cross-functional partners to define deliverables, timelines, and milestones that set projects up for success.
  • Monitor progress against goals and timelines, proactively identifying issues and coordinating with stakeholders to implement timely resolutions.
  • Manage project budgets , conduct research and analysis, and refine project plans based on data-driven insights.
  • Assess and mitigate project risks using quality tools, presenting alternatives and solutions that keep work on track.
  • Share lessons learned , capture project documentation, and leverage insights from other teams to continuously improve project outcomes.
  • Allocate and guide resources effectively, coaching team members through project phases and providing developmental feedback to strengthen team capability.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment, clear communication, and successful delivery of projects of varying size and complexity.

  • Skill in managing conflict constructively, addressing issues with professionalism and minimal disruption.
  • Strong planning and alignment capabilities to prioritize work, manage dependencies, and meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in project issue and risk management, using the right tools to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while driving proactive resolution.
  • Comprehensive project management discipline to balance scope, schedule, and resources and ensure intended results are fully realized.
  • Effective resource management to develop, monitor, and adjust headcount and expense plans that support project delivery.
  • Strong schedule management skills to maintain timelines, track progress, and drive on-time completion using recommended tools and processes.
  • Expertise in scope management to define, control, and deliver all required project work—no more, no less—to achieve project success.
  • Ability to adapt communication and translate complex technical or business information into clear, actionable insights for various audiences.
  • A deep understanding of customer perspectives to integrate their needs into solutions, content, and recommendations that increase value and drive business success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of power generation products, ability to interface with contractors, consulting engineers, vendors, knowledge of codes, knowledge of technical documentation, and strong research capabilities needed.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must possess strong organizational and planning skills and be capable of multi-tasking on a variety of complex tasks
  • Must be able to manage databases and reporting mechanisms for project milestones.
  • Must be data and process oriented/driven.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Project Administration, Engineering and Service Team both within and outside of their account.
  • Must possess a good base of understanding of project financials.
  • Must quickly be able to build rapport with external stakeholders - client and trade partners.
  • Ability to review and understand design submittals preferred.
  • Previous experience in a new construction setting preferred.
