Position Overview
The Program Manager, People Insights & Solution Design (PISD), will serve as a strategic and operational accelerant to the Vice President of People Insights & Solution Design and the broader PISD leadership team. This role functions as critical organizing function, driving clarity, focus, and execution across a complex and high-impact portfolio of work.
People Insights & Solution Design plays a critical role in enabling data-driven talent strategies, scalable people solutions, and enterprise workforce decisions. As a newly created role, this Program Manager will architect and operationalize how work gets done across the team — ensuring priorities are clear, resources are aligned, timelines are realistic, and commitments are met.
This individual will lead annual and quarterly planning processes, oversee portfolio prioritization and load management, and manage the fiscal year roadmap for PISD. They will establish operating rhythms, drive accountability to outcomes, and ensure the organization is positioned to deliver against its most critical enterprise commitments.
The ideal candidate is a structured systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity, brings executive presence, and can seamlessly toggle between strategic planning and detailed execution. They are energized by building from the ground up and enabling leaders to operate at their highest impact.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Portfolio Management
Lead the development and orchestration of the PISD annual and fiscal year plan, ensuring alignment to enterprise and People & Places priorities
Drive quarterly and annual planning processes, including prioritization, tradeoff discussions, and roadmap development
Establish a clear portfolio view across initiatives, identifying dependencies, risks, and resource constraints
Partner with the VP and leadership team to ensure strategic initiatives are sequenced and resourced appropriately
Operating Rhythm & Execution Excellence
Design, implement, and maintain operating rhythms that enable efficient decision-making and execution (e.g., staff meetings, business reviews, planning cycles)
Drive clarity around goals, milestones, timelines, and deliverables across the team
Implement mechanisms to monitor progress, flag risks early, and course-correct as needed
Create scalable processes that improve transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
Capacity & Load Management
Oversee work planning and resource allocation across PISD to ensure balanced team load and sustainable delivery
Identify capacity gaps, reprioritization needs, and optimization opportunities
Support leaders in making informed tradeoffs based on impact, timing, and available resources
Leadership Enablement
Serve as a thought partner to the VP and leadership team, helping shape narratives, prepare for key meetings, and drive follow-through on commitments
Translate strategy into actionable plans and clear communication for multiple stakeholder groups
Foster strong partnerships across People & Places and enterprise stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and collaboration mechanisms
Leverage data and insights to inform prioritization and operational decisions
Build a culture of disciplined execution while enabling innovation and agility
8+ years of experience in program management, strategy & operations, business operations, or Chief of Staff–type roles
Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional portfolios in a matrixed global organization
Proven ability to lead annual planning, roadmap development, and prioritization processes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear recommendations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication
Experience leading througah influence without direct authority
High organizational agility and ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives in parallel
Experience within People, HR, Talent, Workforce Analytics, or related functions
Experience supporting senior executives (VP+ level)
Familiarity with fiscal planning, budgeting cycles, and operational planning frameworks
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Strategy, or related field
Systems thinker who sees the big picture while managing the details
Highly structured and disciplined, yet adaptable in dynamic environments
Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to build new processes from the ground up
Strategic partner who balances challenge and support
Action-oriented with a bias toward execution
Trusted operator who exercises sound judgment and discretion
