As a Marketing Intern for our Trauma and Extremities (T&E) Division, you will support the European Brand Management team in driving strategic and operational marketing initiatives across EMEA. You will take ownership of a dedicated project focused on biologics market assessment, while also contributing to broader marketing activities within a dynamic Medtech environment.
Location of the internship: Stryker Amsterdam office - we offer the flexibility of a hybrid model!
What you will do:
- Biologics Assessment Project Ownership: Lead the project “Biologics Assessment”, including mapping biologics market dynamics in EMEA where you evaluate Stryker’s existing biologics product portfolio, identify portfolio gaps and strategic opportunities and assist in developing a structured market assessment strategy based on data, competitor insights, and market trends
- Business & Market Analysis: Prepare spreadsheets with data interpretation, analyse data trends and create reports to support marketing decision‑making and conduct research, data extraction, and reporting related to performance monitoring, outcomes, and policy compliance
- Marketing Operations & Project Support: Support project efforts including design, monitoring, research, and reporting, assist with creation, routing, and organization of marketing collateral and digital assets and draft internal correspondence and marketing documentation
- Cross‑Functional & Administrative Support: Support project meetings (scheduling, documentation, meeting minutes, action and task tracking), create and analyse process workflows to improve efficiency across cross‑functional divisions and departments, perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned
What you need:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Health Economics, or a related discipline. It is required to be enrolled at a Dutch University for the entire duration of the internship (min 6 months).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to manage routine and structured tasks following defined rules and procedures
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced Medtech environment
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Previous experience in healthcare, Medtech or Marketing
- Interest in portfolio strategy, biologics or medical technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional, international environment
- Any additional European language would be a plus
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
