Role Overview
The Principal Partner Solutions Specialist develops and deploys enterprise-wide partner strategies that drive systemic growth for Autodesk’s Design and Manufacturing core products. This role sets benchmarks for pipeline forecasting, leads transformational sales initiatives, and influences Autodesk’s partner ecosystem with the D&M portfolio. The specialist is a thought leader in industry trends and innovation, guiding global collaboration and strategic alignment. Their impact spans geographies, partner tiers, and business units.
*This is remote role with some travel expected.
Key Responsibilities
• Pipeline & Forecast Management: Set pipeline and forecasting benchmarks across partner tiers; leverage enterprise-level insights to guide decisions.
• New Business Execution: Architect transformational go-to-market initiatives; drive systemic partner-led growth strategies.
• Repeatable Sales Plays: Establish frameworks for repeatable sales plays; scale best practices across geographies and partner segments.
• Collaboration: Lead global collaboration efforts across functions and business units; shape enterprise-level partner engagement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Influence Autodesk’s partner strategy through deep market intelligence; lead executive-level partner advocacy.
Skills & Competencies
• Industry Expertise: Leads industry strategy and thought leadership; shapes partner approach through domain expertise.
• Forecasting: Expert knowledge of and experience with the full spectrum of forecasting methods. Takes a strategic role on policies, strategy and best practices for complex forecasting.
• Communication Skills: Communicates with precision and impact at the executive level; influences enterprise decisions.
• Innovative Thinking: Drives innovation across programs; develops new business models and engagement frameworks.
• Collaboration: Champions enterprise-wide collaboration; builds formal networks and leads systemic initiatives.
Sales Team Collaboration
• Shapes enterprise-level collaboration between Autodesk sales teams and strategic partners to drive systemic alignment.
• Delivers high-impact insights on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and strategic initiatives to guide global execution.
• Leads cross-functional integration across marketing, customer success, and operations at scale.
• Establishes standards for consistent messaging and strategic communication across geographies, partner tiers, and business units
Minimum qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales and/or partner sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree or sufficient related work experience
• Ability to influence and motivate without direct authority
• Strong business acumen
• Proactive approach, flexible, able to operate in constantly changing environment
