Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities / Duties:
- Oversee 24×7 monitoring of all infrastructure and applications using SolarWinds, Splunk, and BigPanda, ensuring timely detection, triage, and escalation of events.
- Lead the end‑to‑end incident management process, driving rapid response, coordinated resolution, and adherence to SLAs.
- Maintain and optimize monitoring standards by refining alert thresholds, correlation rules, and configurations to reduce noise and improve detection accuracy.
- Develop and maintain detailed runbooks for L1 and L2 teams while driving automation of repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and resolution times.
- Create and enhance dashboards and service health reports to provide visibility into availability, performance, and capacity across key services.
- Identify recurring incidents through trend analysis, conduct RCAs, and coordinate with engineering teams to implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor capacity, performance, and resiliency trends to proactively identify risks, forecast demand, and support DR/HA validation activities.
- Collaborate with Change Management to define monitoring guardrails, implement pre/post‑change validations, and minimize change‑related incidents.
- Manage shift operations and ensure effective 24×7 coverage while driving capability development and cross-skilling across the NOC team.
- Lead the NOC team through effective goal setting, performance management, and day‑to‑day coaching to build a high‑performing operations function.
- Support team growth through mentoring, structured career development planning, and regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, SOPs, SLAs, and security requirements while promoting continuous process improvement across the NOC.
- Manage staffing, shift schedules, and on‑call rotations to maintain operational readiness while balancing employee well‑being.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to ensure seamless operations and strong stakeholder alignment
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 4+ years of leadership experience in global tech service delivery environment is preferred
- Over all 9+ years of experience in technology domain, preferred monitoring or NOC background
- Strong demonstration of leadership capabilities.
- Financial Services Experience a key advantage, highly pressurized environment an essential.
Qualifications - External
A Bachelor’s Degree, BE/B Tech CSE/IT preferred
