Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description

Visa U.S.A. Inc, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Financial Analyst (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:

• Review Client Incentive contracts for North America.
• Analyze executed incentive contract terms to assess Visa's contractual obligations and determine appropriate accounting treatment based on Visa policy and procedure.
• Review proforma to ensure accuracy of contract interpretation and application of Visa's accounting policy.
• Work with internal stakeholders to clarify contracts clauses.
• Set up incentive contracts in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing system per contract terms, ensuring all key obligations have been accurately addressed.
• Track and process contractual payments per terms of contracts accurately and timely, perform peer reviews, and approve payments/contract setups.
• Review on-going contract performance and update future performance/amortization schedules, as needed.
• Liaise with Sales, Strategy, Interchange, FP&A, Legal, clients, and other stakeholders to provide support around deal structuring, accounting guidance, and ad hoc requests, and to determine the fulfilment of contractual obligations.
• Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Audit, Finance, or related field and 3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Develop and maintain complex financial models.
2. Data reconciliation and reporting accuracy.
3. Review and monitor contract performance.
4. Update performance/amortization schedules based on ongoing contract review.
5. Support FP&A with ad hoc requests and data reconciliation.
6. Advanced business analysis skills to support deal structuring and accounting guidance and develop customized fee rate reconciliation programs.
7. Utilize streamline data analytical pipelines using tools like Power Query and Power BI to automate reporting and data analysis.
8. Advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and reporting.
9. Develop and maintain complex financial models and dashboards.
10. Create incentive contracts in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing system (ORMB).
11. Enhance Oracle contract systems and Incentive SQL Analytical Cube through UAT tests.

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $152,069.00 to $206,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
