Your role:
Provide commercial support to the Italy CRM / Sales team, with the flexibility to contribute to wider EMEA CRM activities when required. The role focuses primarily on delivering high‑quality service to Italian clients while remaining positioned to support additional geographies over time, in line with business needs. Responsibilities include preparing sales materials, supporting client interactions, and maintaining accurate systems and records.
Key Responsibilities:
General Sales Support
Assist local Distribution (Sales & CRM) with the preparation of presentations, client pitches, meeting packs, and RFPs
Support the collection and organisation of materials required for sales processes
Support to Client Relationship Activities
Support senior colleagues in managing day‑to‑day interactions with client organisations
Provide clients with basic fund, market, or operational information, escalating more complex queries as needed
Contribute to the organisation of periodic client review interactions
Sales Proactivity (Activity‑Based)
Deliver against activity‑based KPIs (e.g., call preparation, meeting follow‑ups, Salesforce updates)
Help identify potential commercial opportunities by maintaining up‑to‑date client information and monitoring product interest
Participate in internal meetings to prepare sales pipelines and follow‑up actions
Systems and Record Keeping
Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Log meetings, calls, and relevant client interactions under supervision
Support the preparation of reports and dashboards for distribution, sales, and management review
Fund, market and Industry Knowledge
Develop a solid understanding of Invesco’s fund range, investment processes, and market views through structured training
Support responses to basic product‑related questions
Keep updated on industry developments, with guidance from senior team members
Campaigns & events coordination
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external client events
Support marketing campaigns through preparation of invitations, follow‑up communications, and attendance tracking
Support Marketing & Product content initiatives
Contribute to Trade Marketing Budget execution
Sales Client Servicing
Support the resolution of client requests by liaising with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, Product, etc.)
Ensure timely follow‑up and escalation to subject‑matter experts when needed
Client retention & concentration
Assist in monitoring client concentration across products and collecting relevant data
Support the implementation of client retention initiatives by providing analysis, reports, and documentation
What you can bring:
Previous experience in asset management, financial services, sales, or client support is a plus
Understanding of financial markets and investment products (and strong willingness to learn)
Solid IT skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and Excel. Openness to learning new technologies and CRM systems
University degree in Finance / Administration / Economics
Willingness to complete relevant industry qualifications supported by Invesco
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with willingness to develop influencing abilities over time
High motivation, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Good organisational and time‑management skills; ability to work on multiple tasks
Team‑oriented mindset, collaborative approach, and openness to coaching
Interest in financial markets and desire to build a long‑term career within the industry
Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours and travel for client events
Required Language skills: Italian and good command of the English language (written and spoken)
