Chief Technology Officer

Narratize is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide strategic technical and product leadership for our cloud-native SaaS platform, focused on becoming the ultimate AI product intelligence solution. The CTO will align engineering efforts with product and technology strategies, oversee platform performance and stability, critically assess the tech stack, and develop the strategic roadmap for future evolution. This role also supports technical due diligence, security reviews, and compliance readiness, shaping technical management from the ground up in an early-stage startup environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee end-to-end product development, ensuring seamless execution, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives
• Ensure the LLM-agnostic AI platform is built for scalability, efficiency, and innovation
• Align engineering systems, features, and capabilities with product and technology strategies
• Guide development timing and resource alignment for market readiness
• Manage the full product lifecycle, from definition and feature prioritization to testing and launch
• Drive cross-functional alignment between product, marketing, sales, and customer success to support business growth
• Leverage advanced AI to streamline development, improve accuracy, and accelerate timelines
• Identify risks, assess solution proposals, and oversee engineering talent engagement and progress
• Participate in board and sales activities as needed
• Maintain oversight of platform performance and stability, ensuring rigorous testing and iteration
• Incorporate user feedback and data-driven insights to refine the product post-launch
• Provide technical support and strategy for client custom configurations, ensuring service level agreements are met

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have 7+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture, building solutions from early-stage through scaling and maturity
• Have experience with foundational LLMs and using LLMs for RAG-based interactions
• Have built scalable, containerized, cloud-agnostic platforms with seamless user experiences and integrated services
• Possess deep knowledge of full-stack modern development practices (DevOps, APIs, Jira, GitHub, Figma, Google Suite)
• Have experience in venture-backed B2B SaaS companies, scaling from seed to series and beyond
• Balance vision and strategy with execution, and have a bias toward action in fast-paced environments
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Are passionate about AI, innovation, and accelerating user impact
• Think strategically and architecturally about generative AI and predictive analytics to drive business value
• Preferred but not required: Experience building for R&D, product engineering, or new product innovation in manufacturing industries
