We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate within Client Onboarding Regulatory Services responsible for adherence to client regulatory requirements during the life of the client’s relationship with Morgan Stanley.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you'll do in the role:
Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team.
Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements.
Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output.
Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution.
Perform Client Due Diligence review in support of the Firm's new client onboarding and existing client regular review in accordance with the applicable regulatory program requirements (such as UK, Germany, Dubai, US, Hong Kong, Singapore KYC requirements and applicable eligibility standards)
Ability to handle volume spikes and prioritize work including ad-hoc requests and projects to meet business demands in a timely manner
Participate in process improvement initiatives such as technology enhancements, operational process review, and process simplification.
Support Functional Managers in the performance of quality & control checks; include the performance of 4-eye checks, collection of error types and analysis of root causes to identify opportunities for improvements.
Support Functional Managers during internal audit, testing and external reviews by way of delivering process walk-through and preparing sample packs for auditors and testing team to review
What you'll bring to the role:
At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in AML/KYC customer due diligence, control, and regulatory program related process and/or projects are preferred.
Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values.
Ability to interact effectively with Business Units, Compliance, global colleagues (Hong Kong, Budapest, London, Tokyo, New York, Bangalore) and build effective working relationships
Ability to work independently and meet the business deadlines with accuracy, handle trouble shooting to mitigate risks
Understanding of global KYC/CIP requirements (for UK, US, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore etc.) supporting international institutional and wealth management businesses desired
Understanding of India local KYC and ODI regulatory requirements is a plus
